I can’t find any Part 3 tests available in my area. Someone said you can ‘Book to Hold’ what is this?

“Book to Hold” with the DVSA means that when there are no available test dates for your Part 2 (driving ability) or Part 3 (instructional ability) tests, you can still pay for the test and be placed on a waiting list. Once a test slot becomes available, the DVSA will allocate a date for you and notify you of the scheduled test.

This system ensures that even if there are no immediate test dates, you're guaranteed a slot once it opens up. It helps secure your place in the queue without needing to constantly check for availability.
