How can I change the way I pay for my membership or update my payment details?

There are two different processes, depending on what you need to do:


1. Switching from card payments to Direct Debit

  • The DIA no longer accepts credit or debit cards for membership payments.

  • If you currently pay by card, your membership will continue until your saved card expires. Once your card has expired, you will need to set up a Direct Debit mandate to continue your membership.

  • To arrange this, please complete the online form here: www.driving.org/payments. Our Membership Support team will confirm your renewal date and help you make the switch.


2. Updating your Direct Debit after changing banks or accounts

  • If you already pay by Direct Debit and have changed your bank or account, you can update your mandate in the DIA Members’ Portal.

  • Log in, go to Payments, and select “Add Mandate.” From there, you can securely update your bank details.
