How can I change the way I pay for my membership or update my payment details?

There are two different processes, depending on what you need to do:
1. Switching from card payments to Direct Debit
The DIA no longer accepts credit or debit cards for membership payments.
If you currently pay by card, your membership will continue until your saved card expires. Once your card has expired, you will need to set up a Direct Debit mandate to continue your membership.
To arrange this, please complete the online form here: www.driving.org/payments. Our Membership Support team will confirm your renewal date and help you make the switch.
2. Updating your Direct Debit after changing banks or accounts
If you already pay by Direct Debit and have changed your bank or account, you can update your mandate in the DIA Members’ Portal.
Log in, go to Payments, and select “Add Mandate.” From there, you can securely update your bank details.
