Why is having a policy which offers up to £20 million of cover important?

Increasingly, it is a requirement of many customers and clients (particularly fleet, local authorities and government agencies) that you be asked to present proof of Public Liability insurance before they will contract work from you, or allow you to work on their property or premises. Many such clients now specify a minimum of £20 million of cover, which DIA includes in all memberships (unlike other ADI associations who only offer £10 million of cover).
You may also need this type of cover when using off-road training facilities, delivering training on third-party property, such as classrooms in a training centre, private land for in-vehicle training etc.
