Before I start the process of becoming a driving Instructor, is there any way of checking if I would be suitable for the job? What hours are normal for a PDI to teach each week? I have either lost or had my PDI licence stolen, what should I do? Should I join an association as a PDI or wait until I have qualified? As an ORDIT trainer, can I sign off a PDI’s ADI21 AT form for 20 hours of training if their sponsor is unavailable?

What hours are normal for a PDI to teach each week?

Although each person is individual, it is important to remember that the PDI licence is to enable you to continue training whilst getting real-life practice on route to qualifying. It should not be seen as full-time earnings.
