What is classed as road rage?

Last Update a year ago

While “road rage” is not formally defined in the Highway Code or Driving – The Essential Skills, the term typically refers to aggressive or angry behaviour triggered by driving-related incidents. This may include verbal abuse, tailgating, aggressive gestures, or dangerous driving in response to frustration. Minor incidents may not constitute an offence, but more serious behaviours may breach traffic or criminal law.
